Every spring, the butterfly's go from flower to flower, pollinating the crops and plants that sustain Hopi life. Almost all of the Hopi Butterfly dances features a Hopi girl wearing a large flat geometric kopatsoki on her head and her eyes are blocked by yarn 'bangs'. The Butterfly Dance is often held during late summer and early fall. This dress has a nice oversize fit.
